We wanted a wedding DJ who would personalize the music and energy of the evening to us rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all wedding playlist.

DJ Tom spent over an hour on the phone with us before the wedding, really getting to know our style and music preferences. He even gave us some great suggestions for our reception playlist. He was punctual and professional and handled everything seamlessly, from looping songs during the ceremony to adjusting the volume for older guests. Tom kept the energy up and ensured our day flowed perfectly. We can’t recommend him and Grant Hemond & Associates enough!

We wanted a DJ who was open to playing songs that weren’t on the usual wedding playlist. We went to five weddings the year before ours and took notes of what we liked and didn’t like as guests and tried to use this to make our wedding more enjoyable. We couldn’t do one more Cupid Shuffle after our year of attending weddings! Our wedding planner recommended Grant Hemond & Associates for our DJ. After looking around, we thought they were the best value for their services, especially since they were familiar with our venue and had been there many times before.

Choosing a DJ was a very important decision for our wedding. We knew that it could make or break the reception vibes. We were looking for someone who could maintain high energy levels and limit song requests yet accurately gauge the crowd. It was essential to find a DJ who would respect our song recommendations and refrain from playing specific songs as requested.

My in-laws have used Grant Hemond & Associates many times for their past parties, so booking the DJ was actually our initial vendor decision upon getting engaged! Fortunately, we secured their services early in the planning process. The DJ was phenomenal and truly brought the energy to the reception! We received countless compliments about how enjoyable he was and how great the music was. He even incorporated some Irish songs and let my Irish cousins take over the mic in leading a group dance, so he was just such a great sport. Thanks to him, people were dancing non-stop throughout the entire night!

We hired Adam from Grant Hemond & Associates, and wow, we were impressed. We had almost two full hours of dancing the night away on a full dance floor.

We were looking for someone who was willing to DJ based on a playlist we had curated. We wanted to make sure it would be our music playing at our wedding and not just what may be trending at the time. I am French, and Matthew is Greek, so it was really important for us to incorporate tunes from both our countries into the night. Having our own dancing playing was important. We spent hours choosing and listening to songs that we knew we were going to love and dance to the night of our wedding.

We chose Grant Hemond & Associates because when they connected us with our DJ, he completely understood what we were looking for and was on board with our vision. DJ Jason was very nice and professional.

Grant Hemond also DJed Matt’s parents’ wedding back in the 90s, and we thought it was fitting for the same company to be the DJ for our wedding.

We were looking for a charismatic DJ who would get the party going but also knew the right time to keep things more chill. There were a lot of specific requests we had in regard to the music, so it was important that the DJ paid good attention to detail. We loved Grant Hemond & Associates, specifically our DJ, James.

Being the type-A person that I am, I sent him a long list of ‘do not play’ songs and a very specific list of songs that I wanted him to play for pretty much every section of the evening (dinner, reception, late-night reception). James did a great job of incorporating everything we wanted. We were also very nervous about the first dance portion of the evening because we did not practice for it at all. He told us that if we were struggling to just give him a look and he would fade out of the song early. We didn’t end up needing it, but it was great to know that he would bail us out if necessary!
