Grace and Tom’s romantic Clearwater Beach destination wedding featured an unplugged sunset ceremony followed by an elegant ballroom reception, with a laid-back feel.
“We love the sunset, so we got married as the sun was going down. Every time we go to Florida, we watch the sunset; it is special to us,” the bride shared. “I wanted our wedding to be airy and romantic, and Tom wanted it casual.”

For the Wisconsin couple, it was important to hire a Clearwater Beach wedding planner who could help organize their dream destination Florida wedding.
“We found Special Moments Event Planning and did not have any hesitation when we spoke to Tammy! We needed help planning our wedding from afar and loved everything they had to offer,” the bride gushed. “We wanted our wedding to be a great time for everyone. We focused on the things we love: our family and friends, food, and music.”

The couple agreed that splurging on the best Florida wedding photographer was a must, as they wanted the memories of their special day to be captured without disappointment.
“We looked for a Clearwater Beach photographer who we could feel comfortable around. We also looked for a photographer who would not only capture our big day, but also capture the love we have for each other,” Grace explained. “We hired Lifelong Photography Studios because of the price and look of their photos. The service that Lifelong provided was absolutely amazing! We would love to work with them again if we have any other events!”

Looking back, the bride shared that her favorite parts of the day was of course, marrying Tom, but also getting ready with her bridesmaids.
“I have a lot of memories! I loved having my mom walk me down the aisle. That was very special to me. One thing I never will forget is when I was able to watch the bridal party, our families, and Tom and TJ walk down the aisle before me. I was standing at the top of the stairs, and I could look down and see everyone there to support us in our marriage. I was overwhelmed with emotion; it was so beautiful,” Grace reminisced.
The Proposal:
Tom asked me to go on a walk to the park (he never does that), so I automatically dropped what I was doing and said yes! When we got out of the house I felt his pockets and said, “What no ring?” He said, why do you always have to ruin the surprise? I didn’t know he actually had it but without the box. We ended up walking to the botanical gardens, and he asked me if I would marry him.
What did you look for in a wedding planner?
We hired a planner because we are from Wisconsin, and our wedding was in Florida. We looked for someone who would be able to give us our dream wedding.

We hired Lifelong Photography Studios because of the price and look of photos. They were recommended by our wedding planner. We had our engagement pictures taken first, and once we had those done we knew that we made the right decision. The service that Lifelong provided was absolutely amazing! What was your inspiration/theme?
I wanted it to be airy and romantic, and Tom wanted it casual. We love the sunset, so we got married as the sun was going down. Every time we go to Florida, we watch the sunset; it is special to us. We had 30 minutes of cocktails before our ceremony so guests could enjoy themselves and relax. We chose a tree planting ceremony because we wanted to plant the tree when we move into our own home.
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
Take your time. Choose everything that you want. Don’t let anyone persuade you to make a decision you are not happy with. Let the day just happen, and let those who are around you enjoy their time too. They are there to support you, and you want to show them you love them. Everything will work out, and the day will happen quickly, so take time with your husband and ask for private moments so you can take it all in. If it’s what you want, make it happen. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
