Jessica and Logan's enchanting Clearwater wedding beautifully captured their deep connection to the water. Set against a serene winter backdrop, a palette of whites and blues was accompanied by the graceful presence of dolphins gliding through the aquarium setting.
“We both love being out on the water. The aquarium incorporated that into our special day, and we loved that our guests were able to hang out with the dolphins during our cocktail hour,” the bride beamed. “Our colors were blue and white.”
Since the groom is a boat captain, the couple incorporated their shared passion for the water and dolphins into their wedding day. Choosing the Clearwater Marine Aquarium as their venue allowed them to embrace their love for marine wildlife while providing a unique experience for their guests, who enjoyed a cocktail hour with a stunning view of dolphins through the “Window of Wonder” glass viewing tank.
“Logan's floating tiki bar boats go out on the water and can be used for dolphin watching. We loved the idea of incorporating dolphins and having our reception at a place that does so much good for dolphins and other marine wildlife,” Jessica shared.

“I truly didnโt have an inspiration for hair and makeup. Mostly just natural beauty was what I was hoping for, for my wedding day look. The stylist who did my hair and makeup was awesome!” Jessica exclaimed.
To create a delicious meal for the 150-guest wedding reception, the pair looked to a local catering company with over 30 years of experience. From the first bite to the last sip, guests were treated to a delightful dining experience that perfectly complemented the beauty and elegance of the evening.
“Amici's Catered Cuisine did a great job with our food and drinks! They were more than accommodating and answered the many questions and concerns we had along the way. We loved the chicken parm; it was so yummy!” the bride shared.
After their elegant dinner, the groom treated the bride to one of her late-night indulgences.
“Logan knows that one of my favorite things to eat after a night out having a couple of drinks is a McDonald's Happy Meal. He surprised me by ordering 100 Happy Meals to be delivered to our reception 30 minutes before the end for our guests to eat and take home with them. I loved this, and so did all of our guests!” the bride gushed.
Looking back, Jessica and Logan's standout moment was viewing their ballroom for the first time and witnessing their vision come to life. They also cherished their private first dance, savoring a quiet moment together before the room filled with loved ones.
“Our most memorable moment was walking into the ballroom for the first time and seeing it before anyone else did. It was breathtaking to see everything come together on the day of,” the bride reminisced. “We did a private first dance which was very special for us. It gave us a moment alone together to enjoy each other, take a second to just breathe, and take in the whole experience before the room was filled with our closest friends and family.”
What were your hair and makeup inspiration?
I truly didnโt have an inspiration for hair and makeup. Mostly just natural beauty was what I was hoping for, for my wedding day look. The stylist from Michele Renee The Studio who did my hair and makeup was awesome!
The Proposal:
We went on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. The ring was supposed to be done by then but unfortunately, it was not. When we got back, we went to Madeira Beach at sunset to take pictures of Logan's sister, Lyndsey, and her husband, Nick. They were expecting twin boys in about a month. Much to my surprise, after a long and bad day at work as an ICU Nurse, Logan got down on one knee and proposed with my family watching just far enough off in the distance that I didnโt know they were there!

Where did you spend your honeymoon?
We went to Cairo, Egypt, to see the Pyramids, and then from there, we went to South Africa to go on a safari and down to Capetown! We both love to travel and see new places, so we wanted a honeymoon full of adventure and checked a few things off our bucket list in the process!
