Femme Akoi is always one of my go-to hair and makeup companies, and Nicole fell in love with the owner Christine. Christine really understood Nicole’s vision and perfectly executed the look at the trial. Nicole also had a large list of folks needing hair and makeup services, approximately 20, so working with a company that could take on a group that size was a deciding as well.

To continue with our romantic and classic style the inspiration was whimsical and flowing. We all went with long soft curls and I had pearls and rhinestones in my hair to complement the look.

When I say I spent hours researching vendors, I was not exaggerating. I spoke with many artists and companies, checked out their social media accounts for real-life examples of their recent work, and researched the type of products they used.
