Choosing a wedding DJ was one of the more difficult decisions for us because we love electronic dance music and wanted someone who could blend our style with songs everyone would enjoy.

Grant Hemond & Associates connected us with DJ Adam Hensleigh, and after a call to discuss our vision, he made us feel confident he could deliver. We provided him with multiple playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing so he could get a sense of our taste. He exceeded our expectations. He played a great mix of classic songs remixed with dance music and had all our guests on the dance floor.

We wanted someone who was truly a professional, but would also keep our own preferences and tastes in mind. We also wanted someone with high energy and the ability to get people out of their seats and on the dance floor quickly.

Neither the company nor Jason disappointed; it was easy to book with them, the price was very reasonable, and Jason was incredible! He was so kind, energetic, personable, and helped the reception go very smoothly.

We hired Grant Hemond & Associates because we went to a previous wedding where we really enjoyed their music and how they handled the announcements and kept the party going.

We love going to music festivals and concerts together, so our personalities shined through the music and the party! All of the genres played during cocktail hour and the reception were hand selected. I can’t go a day without hearing Rufus du Sol and Fred Again so these were easy playlists to build with our DJ, Jason. We wanted our personality and character to shine through any opportunity we could. Our first dance had so much character because we choreographed it together a month before the wedding! I looked for a DJ who shared my passion for music and enjoyed the same genres we both like. I wanted a DJ who knew how to vibe with the energy of the guests, as well.

We wanted an atmosphere where everyone could let loose, dance, and celebrate, so curating the right music was essential. The top priority for us was someone who could keep the energy high and the dance floor packed. Michael is a huge fan of Kygo, and we both love a good mix of genres, so it was important that the DJ could smoothly transition between different styles, from tropical house to classics and crowd-pleasers. Personally I’m like a can of Pringles when it comes to dancing, once I pop, I don’t stop, so we needed someone who could keep the momentum going all night for the biggest party of our lives. We were looking for a DJ who could read the crowd, maintain a fun and lively atmosphere, and create a mix that reflected our personalities and musical tastes.
