We wanted somewhere that would not require guests to commute between the ceremony and reception. We also wanted somewhere that was big enough, aesthetic, and affordable.

We ended up choosing The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club because of how stunning it was and how great the on-site catering was. Also, Amy Winkleman, the event manager, is a huge asset. Truly a beautiful venue, especially during sunset, and the food was a huge hit. Most wedding guests accept that the food will be mediocre, but everyone was raving about the food.

We realized early on that our happiest moments are always by the water, so naturally, we wanted our wedding to reflect that. That focus helped narrow down our search. We decided to skip the big hotel ballrooms and looked for a spot that felt hidden and intimate.

We picked The Bay Club at Westshore Yacht Club for many reasons. We loved the location, how intimate it felt, and it’s hard to beat the view at sunset!

We really wanted a venue on the water as we both love the beach, sunsets, and palm trees. The Westshore Yacht Club pool deck was a perfect location, and we were blessed with a gorgeous sunset on our wedding night. The venue itself was gorgeous, and it being on the water overlooking the bay was everything we wanted and more.

Amy Winkleman Cole was so helpful from the start; we knew we could trust her to make our special day come to life. No questions asked! It was a perfect fit from the start. I researched numerous weddings on the Marry Me Tampa Bay site, particularly those that took place at Westshore Yacht Club. The visuals and inspo were extremely helpful!

We chose Tampa because all our guests were from out of town and the airports and hotels nearby to the venue made it easy for them! I wanted outdoor space for the ceremony and reception, with flexible pricing options, a great coordinator, and the ability to fit up to 200 people.

After reaching out to many Tampa venues, she got back to me immediately, and she put together a customizable budget and told me that she would work diligently with me to make sure we get what we need! The space speaks for itself and is an absolutely gorgeous venue, especially in the month of November where the weather was perfect! All of the food and drinks were top tier. Overall, Amy made this experience one to remember, and ensured our day ran completely smoothly.

Initially, we had chosen a different wedding venue, but before signing the contract, I had a gut feeling that it wasn’t the right place for us. It just didn’t feel like us. So, I quickly searched on Marry Me Tampa Bay for outdoor wedding venues in Tampa and stumbled upon Westshore Yacht Club. I had done hundreds of searches before and never seen the Westshore Yacht Club so it was truly a timely thing! I reached out to them, and we scheduled a tour that week. As soon as we set foot on the grounds, we knew this was the perfect wedding venue for us! We had envisioned an outdoor ceremony by the water, and it fulfilled everything we had dreamed of. I also wanted a venue that was naturally beautiful, requiring minimal additional decoration, and the Westshore Yacht Club was exactly that.

We selected the Westshore Yacht Club because it offered the perfect blend of Mediterranean and Florida-style ambiance. It has a natural beauty without us needing to do anything to it. Additionally, the on-site coordinator, Amy Winkleman, was an absolute delight to work with. Her kindness and professionalism kept me relaxed throughout the entire wedding planning journey. She was certainly a major factor in our decision to choose the Westshore Yacht Club. From coordination and planning to food and service, everything surpassed our expectations at this venue!

We wanted a gorgeous water view with fully outdoor elements. I wanted a unique space that allowed my guests to get out of town, that wasn’t a far drive. We wanted a little weekend getaway close to the water and to give our guests that true Florida experience, which totally was a gamble because of Florida’s weather, but it was the best decision we made! We also wanted a venue that was unique and one we had never heard of before. Westshore Yacht Club was absolutely unique, had some European vibes that I loved, a gorgeous water view, and in-house catering. I was obsessed, not to mention it is such an elegant space and really fit my vibe so well!

From the moment I walked into the space, I was truly blown away! The facility was so beautiful on the inside and even more gorgeous outside! I absolutely loved how they had in-house catering; this made it so easy. Amy Winkleman, the venue coordinator, was a dream to work with! I knew I would be taken good care of! From the gorgeous water view with sailboats and yachts to the staff and the gorgeous architectural elements that reminded us of Europe, we knew we had to get married there!
