What Inspired Us to Start Our Business is:

Working as a newspaper photographer was what I went to school for, but I craved more creative control over my images and wanted to directly serve my clients with a personal photography experience.

We Love Being a Part of the Wedding Industry Because:

Being able to experience a glimpse into my couples lives, meet their families and see so much love!

What Makes Our Business Stand Out From Other Vendors Is:

I love to connect with my couples and make them feel comfortable, confident, and relaxed. I give a lot of feedback on posing and help spark meaningful thoughts and actions, resulting in fun, romantic, and authentic images that reveal their love story! As a photojournalist, I approach all my sessions and weddings as if there is a story to be told, photographing all aspects including the scenes around them and down to the buttons on their wedding attire.

One Thing Most Couples Would Be Surprised to Know About Us Is:

My own wedding was canceled due to a hurricane.

One of Our Non-Wedding Passions Is:

Spending time with my family.

Our Pricing:

Wedding coverage with an engagement session averages $2,975.

Meet Amanda Zabrocki

I was born and raised in Naples and went to the University of Florida receiving a Photojournalism degree. I met my husband in college my freshman year and we dated for seven years and then got married. A job offer took us to Alabama for a year and then another move to South Carolina where I started my photography business and where both our children were born.

As my husband had continued success with his company, another move was presented to us, Oklahoma! This was by far the most different place we had ever lived, but we loved it and settled right in. Moving a photography business was not easy, but I learned to make connections and had many industry friends.

It wasn’t until our Oklahoma neighbors announced that they were moving to Florida that my husband and I both had a lightbulb moment that we ourselves needed to move to Florida to be closer to our roots and family.

It was the best decision we could have ever made! We are now home and thriving in all the things Florida has to offer…family, friends, and sunshine!

Vibrant Pink Waterfront Tampa Wedding | Davis Islands Garden Club

We focused on the end product, the photographs themself, and reasonable pricing. We wanted light and airy, so when we were searching for photographers we did a lot of browsing through galleries of previous weddings for our preferred type of editing style.

We picked Amanda Zabrocki Photography because we really liked her editing style and the look of the photographs. Her pricing was also very reasonable and within our budget. Amanda was so bubbly and friendly during our consultation call, and we clicked perfectly when she told us she too has a golden retriever.

We hired her for both our engagement shoot and the wedding. We never had professional photographs taken together, so she was super helpful in guiding us in different poses and backdrops for our engagement shoot. She was also such good energy on our entire wedding day. She's such a friendly lovely person, and everyone that got in front of her camera complimented how well she was doing. We absolutely love how the photos turned out.

Tropical Tented Siesta Key Beach Wedding | Sunset Beach Resort

We wanted someone who was willing to listen to our input with the ability to direct us to know what would look good, even if the poses felt weird! We wanted more focus on guests and family than anything else and a photography team willing to take great photos of couples, family, and friends attending that will be cherished for years.

Amanda Zabrocki Photography and her team were next level; they had the perfect balance of listening to our unique requests and helping capture all the most important moments of the day. Our guests loved them and were so happy to have pictures of themselves taken too; what a great wedding treat for them! Every time I would wonder, did they get this shot? They already had it. Twice! They captured the beauty of our location perfectly, rolled with time changes with no stress, and even suggested a group photo at the reception which was amazing!

Amanda Zabrocki Photography was so easy to work with, and Amanda came prepared with a wedding timeline. She was able to get all of the important photos that we requested, and she worked really well with our kids, despite them being less than cooperative!

The most important aspects were capturing the essence of who we are and the entire experience that day.

Our planner proposed Amanda Zabrocki Photography, and when we looked at Amanda's work, we both felt she was the right person to memorialize our special day.
