We chose Parties a la Carte because of their previous work we had seen on social media and in wedding magazines, and it was a great fit. They also helped plan my sister and her husband’s wedding. They are very accommodating and totally captured our vision. They are on top of everything and always there whenever we had questions or concerns.

I am very detail-oriented and wanted to be active in the wedding planning process, so I looked for someone who worked well with me and understood my personality. I wanted someone with a lot of experience in Tampa events and vendors. It was also important to me to be present at the wedding. I wanted to be able to release everything and needed someone I could trust to take the wheel.

My maid of honor used to work as an event planner at Parties A’La Carte (PALC), and so I had a personal relationship with Jessica and her team. I have also attended weddings of friends who used the services of Parties A’La Carte, and it was a no-brainer for me.

Weddings can feel like chaos, but I can say that because of the amazing ladies at PALC, we both got to be present and enjoy every minute of our wedding. They made the planning process seamless. I really enjoyed meeting all of my potential wedding planners. I was looking for someone who was confident in what they do and someone who could guide me and see the direction I was going in before I even knew where that was.

With the help of my Dad, I interviewed several wedding planners. As soon as my father and I met Jessica, we knew she and her staff at Parties A’La Carte were the best for us. Jessica was a saint the morning of my wedding day after a sleepless night stressing over the groom’s lost luggage, including his tuxedo, and truly became a great friend during the whole process. She was even so thoughtful as to offer her personal diamond bracelet as my “something borrowed” for my wedding day look since it was another last-minute item on my to-do list not completed at the time. She was the backbone I needed throughout the whole wedding planning process. I don’t know what I would have done without her and the entire Parties A’La Carte team in our corner who brought our wedding vision to life, making it truly a hole-in-one!

Having a wedding planner that has good relationships with the vendors in the area is so important, especially when you have to move your wedding because of a pandemic. I really liked Jessica’s wedding portfolio, vision, and ability to speak her mind. Originally, I only hired a wedding planner for the “day of” services, because I thought I had the rest covered. I was wrong! Planning a wedding has so many details that need to be attended to, and I was not prepared or equipped to hire some of the decorators and details myself. She took charge of all the details, was there for me every step of the way in the wedding planning and executed a perfect event on the day of! I loved Jessica’s candor and competence. She and her team went above and beyond in every way imaginable. She saved us money between her negotiating prices and saving us from making mistakes. Jessica managed everything until the wedding, but also managed many unavoidable day of crises with grace, patience and a positive attitude. We actually used Marry Me Tampa Bay to find our planners at Parties A’La Carte, which was the best decision we made! Parties A’La Carte was the only planner that reached back out to me within 24 hours. To me, that showed high organization and professionalism especially since all of the others took about a week. Jessica was also very genuine and explained details of the planning process that we hadn’t even thought of. The women of PALC are fabulous and having them be a part of our wedding made it even more special. They took care of literally everything, and they are the sweetest people ever. I have to compliment our wedding planners because, without Jessica and her team, we wouldn’t have had such amazing vendors. Everyone loved the PALC team, and my mother still to this day talks about how impressed she was with their services.

We wanted a planner who was well established, able to provide vendors, and helped the day run smoothly. Wedding planning was extremely overwhelming, so meeting with a planner who was so experienced and came highly recommended was such a relief! Parties A La Carte is truly the best! I cannot speak more highly of them! I was a bridesmaid in a wedding they did at the beginning and the whole day ran so smoothly because of all the hard work they put in behind the scenes.
