  • We knew we wanted our reception to be at a resort, as we love the resort feel and the amenities they offer. We desired a reception venue that had a quality reputation with a positive atmosphere. We wanted a space that didn’t just have four walls and felt like a box. We wanted to find a space that was indoors but felt open and impactful, with outdoor options furthermore.

We had always loved the iconic pink Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach as we have spent many weekends there, so when we toured the resort’s Belleair room, we instantly fell in love. The Belleair room was open, newly renovated, and had a spectacular view of the beach as well as the sunset. The Hyatt Clearwater just felt classic and timeless in our minds. Their service was impeccable and attentive, and they didn’t miss a thing; my husband and I were catered to from start to finish. I can’t say enough good things about Kayla Seager their event coordinator, she was absolutely amazing. She answered over 500 emails and made sure every detail was accounted for.

  • When I was looking for a venue, I was looking for a nice view for the ceremony and reception as well as a nice backup room just in case it rained. I also wanted to make sure the hotel rooms were nice and updated since we were all coming in from Illinois. We focused on the service and food at our venue because, at the end of the day, no one really pays attention to the wedding decor.

I chose the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach because of how good my tour went. They ran through everything with me, showed me all of the room options, went through different packages, etc., and the views and resort itself are beautiful! It also is a great venue because there’s so much to do on Clearwater Beach.

The Hyatt was a ten out of ten! I still get compliments about the resort and how good the food was at our wedding. Everything turned out perfect. I highly recommend the Hyatt if you want to be close to the beach. Our ceremony was on the beach, cocktail hour was on the eighth floor, and then we did the reception on the 16th floor. The views and the resort are beautiful, and we had the best experience. I can’t recommend it enough!”

  • Outside of the details of the aesthetics, we prioritized guest experience as many of our friends and family traveled a long way to attend the wedding.

We were looking for a venue that included catering, lodging, and proximity to the beach, and we were really impressed by the tour and service we received all around by the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach. Also, the venue’s coordinator, Kayla, is amazing to work with and goes above and beyond for her clients.

  • We both love the ocean and tropical scenery, which is why we also moved here from the Midwest. So we wanted to find a venue on the water, and it was really important to give our guests a feel of relaxation and time to really let loose and have fun at our wedding. We knew we wanted to be on the water, without having to be in the sand directly or fully outdoors.

The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach gave us a beautiful view of the Gulf from the Sky Terrace and Bellaire Ballroom while offering a very practical space for our guests at every step of the evening. We could not have asked for a better venue, views, and staff to work with at the Hyatt. We had several guests come up to us after the wedding to mention how wonderful & professional all the staff was, and we couldn’t agree more. Our wedding went so smoothly, even despite some changes with COVID, and they were there to help and were so accommodating through it all. I really feel like they wanted us to have the most amazing and memorable day, and we really did thanks to them all.

  • We wanted something in the Clearwater/St. Pete area, because it was located near the starting point of a sailing race that was part of our engagement story. We wanted something with the Gulf in the background, and ideally a hotel so that we could all go straight from partying to snoozing.

We had friends in Cleveland who got married at a Hyatt Regency and they had a wonderful experience. After talking to Kayla at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach, the programs sounded similar and Kayla was very energetic and reassuring about helping us plan the perfect day even being states away. The service was incredible! I cannot say enough good things about Kayla. She knew what questions to ask even before I thought of them, and we felt incredibly prepared long before our event date which made the day of experience even easier. From our initial video consult to our tasting, to the day of, we felt like we were the only clients she had. She was responsive when I did have questions, and she was there to take care of things even before they happened. She truly made our wedding day carefree and if there were any hiccups, I did not notice them at all.
