Our wedding planning style is detailed-oriented, organized, and fun! We want the process to be enjoyable for our couples and our goal is to make it as stress-free as possible. We are passionate about what we do and it shines through in our work from the beginning of the process all the way to the very last thing we clean up after the party is over!

Fun and goofy, but we know when you to get serious and get to work! We like to keep the planning process light and fun for our clients but we make sure no detail is overlooked and your day is exactly how you envisioned it to be!
What Inspired Us to Start Our Business is:
After working at luxury hotels in the wedding and events sales departments for over 15 years, I decided to take the leap and start my own company. Through my tenure on the property, I saw a need for a “month of” coordinator to help people arrange the last-minute details and fine-tune their events in a stress-free environment. As time went on, I was asked to assist with designing and planning further than a month out which has since developed into new packages that offer Design Assistance to Full Planning and Design Packages.

I grew up performing and thinking I was going to spend my life on stage or in front of a camera. When I realized that wasn’t going to work out for me, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life! After being in several weddings in my early 20s and being the bridesmaid that seemed to help with most of the planning, I decided to take that “talent” and turn it into a career and I haven’t looked back in 18 years! I found my other passion and am so excited I get to do what I love every day!

We wanted someone who truly connected with us as a couple and was on top of their game. When we initially started looking for wedding planners, sometimes we gave them a cold call to see what they'd say. Some wedding planners seemed busy or referred us to their websites. When we first spoke with Jillian, the owner of Perfecting The Plan, it felt meant to be.
JIllian seemed to really care and genuinely wanted to be a part of our wedding. We talked for quite a while; she went over who she was and all the services she offers. We were impressed, and once we looked up her company, all the reviews were perfect and sounded exactly like the partner that we wanted. Choosing Jillian to be our wedding planner was probably the best and smartest choice we made for our wedding.
Over the course of a year, Jillian was able to get to know us and get a feeling of the direction we wanted to go. She would bring vendors to us and allow us to choose the ones we liked. She offered a lot of her personal business relationships that she had worked with before, which ended up helping out a lot with all of the day of festivities. Every vendor she brought to us was first-class, unique, and allowed the process to be enjoyable. This included the Tampa Club, our photographers, our florist, our band, and pretty much everyone else involved. She had her own team of assistants that came out on the wedding day and help move everything along. Jillian was on top of everything and made our day flow so smoothly. We even had some hiccups, John's pants ripped, and within 30 minutes, she had more pants on the way!
