Meghan Hygh

Born and raised in DeWitt, Michigan, Meghan graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Hotel, Tourism, and Event Management. Her hospitality career began on Mackinac Island, where she discovered her passion for creating memorable experiences and working in the events industry. Eventually making her way to St. Pete, FL. Meghan spent five years as an Event Manager at The Vinoy Renaissance, gaining extensive experience bringing weddings and special celebrations to life before joining Hotel Haya in 2021.

With years of experience in weddings and events, Meghan loves getting to know each couple and learning what makes their celebration uniquely theirs. From the first site tour to the moment they finally say, “This is our venue!,” she loves being part of the excitement. She especially enjoys getting creative with her couples and other vendors, helping bring their vision to life, and finding thoughtful and personalized details that make their wedding feel truly their own.

When she’s not planning weddings, you can usually find Meghan spending time with her dog, Chef, sipping a Cosmo, watching Grey’s Anatomy, or listening to Taylor Swift.
