Eddy Almaguer

What is your hometown?
Tampa, FL
What types of products/services do you offer?

Wedding Photography (along with albums and prints)

What areas do you service?

Primarily Florida, but I can travel beyond for destination weddings

What inspired you to start your business?

A desire to promise couples that on one of their biggest relationship milestone days, they’d have photos they were proud to look back on and share with future generations. It stems from having a poor experience with my own wedding photos, and I don’t want other couples to go through what I did.

What makes your business stand out from others in your category?

If you asked my past couples what made the biggest difference, I don’t think they’d start by talking about my camera, they’d probably talk about how I showed up for them. I make it a point to bring warm, positive energy to the day, treat every guest like they’re important, and work alongside the vendor team however I can. Whether it’s remembering names, helping keep the timeline moving, or anticipating the little things before they become big things, I want everyone around me to feel supported. My hope is that by the end of the night, the couple feels cared for, the vendor team knows they had a true teammate, and everyone walks away feeling like the day was a little easier because I was there.

Describe your ideal client:

My couples want to remember what their wedding felt like, not just what it looked like. They value genuine connection (and don’t feel like they need to “perform”), trust experienced professionals, want to deliver an unforgettable guest experience, and believe the people they choose to surround themselves with have a real impact on their wedding day. They’re thoughtful about where they invest, choosing an experience and photographs they’ll treasure for the rest of their lives.

What is something vendors would be surprised to know about you?

I used to be a sports anchor and interviewed LeBron James!

Fun facts:

Japan is my bucket list vacation spot, burgers are undeniably my favorite food and I’m a huge baseball fan.

Favorite place to meet with other vendors:

If we can’t meet at a networking event, I’m more than happy to do a Zoom call

Favorite gift to receive from another vendor:

A referral is the ultimate gift a vendor can share. And then beyond that, their time. Whether it’s at an event or over a call, sharing their time with me so I could learn about them is truly one of my favorite things.

Is there any additional information you would like to share?

Please do reach out even if it’s just to say ‘hi’. I want to form deeper relationships with the vendors who make beautiful weddings possible.
