South Tampa- The Tampa Garden Club is a lovely setting for outdoor weddings and gatherings. The garden, grounds, and Bay provide beautiful backdrops for your special event and pictures to cherish all of the memories! The Tampa Garden Club features a contemporary 6,000 square foot building. The Grand Ballroom is a wonderfully adaptive space, with a stage and multi-story window wall facing the Bay. Guests can enjoy views of the romantic and lush gardens out one window and gaze out across the scenic and tranquil Tampa Bay through another! The Tampa Garden Club provides the historic charm of South Tampa with the peace and tranquility of lush nature.
Indoor Ceremony: Ceremonies can be held inside the ballroom either on the stage or in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bay or gardens.
Outdoor Ceremony: Weather permitting, ceremonies can be held outside in the wedding garden, or on the front lawn with the Bay in the background.
The Cocktail Hour:
Cocktail Hour can be hosted indoors inside the conservatory which features floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the wedding garden, or on the front lawn overlooking the Bay.
The Garden Ballroom reception space features a 6,000-square-foot hall with a built-in stage and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Bay.
- Capacity for a sit-down event: 300 guests
- Capacity for an outdoor plus indoor reception-style event: 1,500 guests
The Food & Drink:
All food must be provided by a licensed and insured caterer (minimum of a million-dollar liability policy with Tampa Garden Club named as additional insured). The documentation must be sent in a minimum of 45 days before the event.

2024 Prime Rental Rates for Saturday in March, April, and October: Starting at $5,886.00

• 9 consecutive hours of time.
A maximum of 4 hours of that time can have bar service (Can be extended to a Finial Maximum of 4.5 hours
of bar service time should another event hour be purchased)
A minimum of 1 hour is allocated to clean up/tear down.
o Schedule of hours must be sent to the office 45 days before the event
o The latest guest exit is midnight, and the latest vendor exit is 1:00 am
• Additional hours for purchase are available:
o Additional event hours may be purchased for $500.00 per hour plus tax.
o Additional set-up/breakdown hours may be purchased for $250.00 each plus tax.
• Interior use of 300 ivory and black padded chairs, (2) 45″ rounds, (30) 60″ rounds, (15) 6 ft. long & (15) 8 ft. long tables
• Exterior or interior use of (10) 30” round cocktail height tables (*You will need someone on site to take out/back in.)
• Use of kitchen area including small commercial ice maker, warmer and commercial chiller
• Use of microphone and projector screen upon request
• Tampa Garden Club staff on-site during your rental time
• 200 Free Parking spaces
• Use of entire Tampa Garden Club grounds including our wedding garden, full front lawn, and inside the building.

We wanted a venue where the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all at one location, preferably with an outdoor ceremony option. We also looked for affordability, beautiful scenery and views, and somewhere easy to travel to.
We chose the Tampa Garden Club because of its location and affordability. They have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour area, a large ballroom with a stage for the band, and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. It’s also located in the Bayshore neighborhood, which is a beautiful area right along the bay. The Tampa Garden Club was easy to work with, and their wedding manager was always quick to answer emails and calls.
We looked for a modern venue that was a statement itself. It was also important to us that the venue allowed us to choose our own catering and bar services.
We chose Tampa Garden Club because the location was pristine right on the bay, the architecture of the building is breathtaking, and the garden space was perfect for the look of the ceremony we envisioned.
I absolutely knew that I wanted to be near the water, but not quite a beach wedding. The Tampa Garden Club is a blank slate so our vision made it come to life! The view is what sold us though. We got married on the front lawn and had this beautiful bay view in the background. It was absolutely breathtaking. The venue allows you to choose your vendors which I loved. Their service was impeccable. Planning from Texas was not always easy but they were so helpful in their communication.
We wanted something that could be both outside and inside. Florida weather can be a bit tricky. We were able to have an outside ceremony and a wonderful reception indoors.

I used Marry Me Tampa Bay to get a good idea of how other brides decorated the space and to see what vendors had worked there before. Bridget, the coordinator, answered all of our questions and helped us immensely through the planning process.
We primarily wanted a venue that gave us the freedom to use outside vendors and not restrict us to their preferred vendors' list.
We fell in love with the view and location of Tampa Garden Club. Being able to do our ceremony out in the garden and reception inside the ballroom was also what sold us. Bridget was so wonderful throughout the whole process. We booked our venue before we knew of COVID, and she was so transparent with us regarding their policies and what they were doing to stay compliant with the city’s COVID mandates.
