What We Love About Oxford Exchange

Oxford Exchange is a European-inspired Tampa wedding venue featuring a restaurant, bookstore, coffeehouse, and shop. Known for its stunning architecture and elegant ambiance, the event space boasts a blend of historic charm and modern elegance for up to 150 guests, creating a captivating backdrop for ceremonies and receptions.

“Our favorite aspect of Oxford Exchange is its classic look and timeless architecture. The blend of historic charm and contemporary elegance provides a perfect backdrop for creating stunning wedding photographs that will stand the test of time. It offers not only a beautiful setting but also a rich backdrop that enhances the beauty of your photographs and videos. It’s a venue where every corner tells a story, We’ve seen weddings here where couples have personalized the experience beautifully, such as allowing guests to select books from the library as wedding favors, each stamped with the couple’s names by Oxford Exchange—a memory to cherish forever.” -Buffy Feldman, Lifelong Photography

“I knew we were hosting my daughter’s wedding there the first week they opened, and she wasn’t even engaged. There are so many things I love! The aesthetics are number one! It’s right up my alley with the dark wood tones and timeless beauty. It’s a mixture of modern and European vibe with great architectural details. It also has a unique layout that provides an intimate guest experience different than a large open space. The food is always fantastic whether you are there for brunch or a wedding, and they create a beautiful tasting experience for our clients. The OE team is amazingly service-oriented and works magic in a short setup time. The bridal suite is not only beautiful for photos but large and comfortable with a ton of natural light.” -Karen Cerboni, EventFull Weddings

“This venue is a wow and honestly so stunning, but my favorite thing about this venue is that I married the love of my life here in 2020 when we eloped. We picked this location as we wanted an indoor space since it was August. My favorite part of this venue is also the photo opportunities in the space. There are endless opportunities, and each one is unique. I also love that on the couple’s anniversary, they can always visit the venue and enjoy a special meal together. If you are getting married here, make sure you get one of the ornaments for your tree.” -Katy Martin, Coastal Coordinating

“What we love about Oxford Exchange is how naturally beautiful it is. Every corner has a beautiful photo spot and there is so much history to the building. You don’t need a ton to dress up the space because it already is so interesting as is.” -Delaney Driver, Wilder Mind Events

The Ceremony

The Shaw Library (up to 180 guests seated): Stately and refined, the Shaw Library features soaring open ceilings, rich hardwood floors, and walls of books, creating a classic, literary backdrop for your vows. It’s the largest ceremony space; chair rental is required for guest counts over 100.

The Atrium (up to 100 guests): The heart of the building, the Atrium sets your vows on a black-and-white checkered marble floor, framed by a whitewashed brick wall, an antique grandfather clock, and tall black-steel windows that flood the space with natural light. Guests can even watch from the balcony above.

Just off the Atrium, the grand staircase, with dark wood paneling, brass railings, and a gallery wall of vintage portraits, makes for a dramatic entrance and a favorite photo spot.

The Conservatory (up to 80 guests): Light-filled and romantic, the Conservatory features a glass roof, a white brick wall laid in a geometric pattern, potted fiddle-leaf figs, and a timeless Italian stone fountain, creating an intimate garden setting for smaller ceremonies.

The Cocktail Hour

The Atrium transforms from ceremony space to cocktail lounge, with guests mingling across the checkered marble floor beneath the glass-paned windows while the staircase and balcony add a sense of grandeur. Later in the evening, that same marble floor becomes the dance floor.

The Champagne Bar is added for guest counts over 150, creating an additional bar and gathering space.

The Reception

The Conservatory (seated 80 | seated with stations 65): Long tables stretch around the stone fountain, glowing with candlelight against the patterned white brick and greenery. Couples call dinner here one of the most memorable moments of the night; Sarah, from Sarah and Ryan’s wedding, said it “looked so dreamy with all of the candles and flowers.”

The Restaurant (with the Conservatory, half restaurant seated 130 | full restaurant seated 200): The restaurant becomes a warm, gallery-style dining room with wide-plank wood floors, white walls hung with oil paintings, banquette seating, and soft pendant lighting. Floor-to-ceiling drapery can be added to frame the room for a more romantic, intimate feel.

The Food & Drink

All food and beverage is provided in-house, in addition to the venue rental fees. The food and beverage minimum is $200 per person. Taxes and fees include a 25% service charge on the food and beverage total and applicable sales tax on the total invoice. Bartenders are $150 each, with a minimum of two bartenders required for each bar.

Reviews from Marry Me Tampa Bay Couples

Marry Me Tampa Bay curates the below reviews from real couples whom we’ve personally interviewed. As Tampa Bay’s most trusted wedding planning resource, these reviews are 100% accurate and aren’t created by fake accounts.

  • Oxford Exchange is so beautiful, so I really just looked to the venue itself for inspiration. We chose black and white to blend in with the venue and then added the blush pink in for a little pop of color.

Dinner was one of my most memorable moments because the conservatory looked so dreamy with all of the candles and flowers.

  • I always thought I would get married on the water, but one day, when Matt and I were at brunch at Oxford Exchange before we even got engaged, I had this epiphany moment of, ‘Oh my gosh, this would be the most perfect wedding venue.’

When we officially toured Oxford Exchange, I knew it was, without a doubt, our venue. Taylor gave us our tour, and we fell in love with literally everything: from the grand staircase entrance to the romantic dinner in the conservatory to the stunning black-and-white marble dance floor in the atrium, we knew this was the perfect place to celebrate the start of forever together. Every single person we worked with at Oxford Exchange was incredibly kind. Taylor was the most incredible coordinator we could have ever dreamed of. The day of our wedding, I truly did not worry about a single thing from when we walked in those doors until our balloon-drop grand exit. I knew no matter what, our team at Oxford would take care of everything, and they did exactly that.

    – Olga and Matt |
