The Vault Wedding | Tampa Wedding Planner Special Moments
Arielle and Seth’s elegant Tampa wedding included classic elements with a modern twist.
“We both held true to our traditional values and decided to get married in an Episcopal church,” the bride shared.
The St. Petersburg chose downtown Tampa wedding venue The Vault for its sophisticated character and decor.
“I wanted something historic and beautiful. I love the architecture and details in old buildings,” Arielle explained. “I fell in love with The Vault the first time my husband and I took our tour. It was spacious, elegant and everything I wanted. I feel as though we didn’t have to add much to the venue because it was already so beautiful.”
The pair incorporated their venue’s unique environment into their reception entertainment.
“We had our photo booth in an actual [bank] vault! I don’t know how many people can say they’ve had a vault incorporated into their wedding,” the bride gushed.
With the bride’s hectic schedule, she made the smart decision of hiring a Tampa wedding planner.
“I was finishing up grad school and honestly did not have enough time in my schedule to do everything on my own. We really looked for a wedding planner who was patient, honest, and communicative,” Arielle shared. “Tammy [of Special Moments] was so informative and honest about everything! I refer to her as my life saver; I know our wedding wouldn’t have turned out as good as it did without her.”

Looking back, one of Arielle’s most memorable moments was her wedding exit.
“At the end of the night, my husband and I were able to ride around downtown in a 1928 Mercedes, which was amazing!” the bride reminisced.
What was your beauty inspiration?
My beauty inspiration was the vision I’ve had in my head since I was little: gorgeous long curls with a little sparkly barrette in the back. I knew I wanted my hair down with light makeup, yet still stand out in pictures.
Lasting Luxe did an amazing job on myself, bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law. They made everyone feel comfortable and look beautiful.
How would you describe your theme?
Elegant and vintage. I love a classic look with a modern flair.
What were your colors?
Blush, silver, navy, and ivory. It took a while to get the perfect color combination together. I knew immediately that I wanted ivory, when I saw my bridesmaids try on their navy dresses, I thought, wow! Absolutely perfect. The silver tablecloth complemented the blush napkins perfectly.
Why did you hire a wedding planner?
We hired a wedding planner because I was finishing up grad school and honestly did not have enough time in my schedule to do everything on my own. We really looked for someone who was patient, honest, and communicative.
Tammy [of Special Moments] was so informative and honest about everything! You could tell that her passion was to make her brides happy. I refer to her as my life saver; I know our wedding wouldn’t have turned out as good as it did without her.
The Proposal:
Seth and I went on vacation to Chicago a few days before New Year’s Eve. I thought it was funny that he left our apartment without a suitcase, but had decided to bring a carry-on backpack instead (so he wouldn’t lose the ring). We had planned to go to out dinner the first night we were there, but Seth said he wanted to show me the gorgeous Olive Park first. I remember it being really cold outside, and I had accidentally left my gloves at the hotel. As we were enjoying at the Chicago skyline, he proposed! It was the perfect moment.
What did you look for in a wedding DJ and lighting?
We looked for someone who could take our preferred music styles and blend them together. Our DJ spoke to me over the phone for about an hour discussing lighting and helping us through the process. He asked me what our colors were and what he thought would work really well in our space, since he had worked at the venue before.
Michael [of Nature Coast Entertainment Services] was incredible! He even surprised us at the end of the night with an awesome song for guests to dance to.

[The venue coordinators] Casey and James provided such excellent service throughout our wedding and made sure we had everything we needed and even hand delivered the cocktails that were named after us.
