What inspired you to start your business?

My path to wedding photography wasn’t a straight line — I spent years as a single mom and full-time firefighter before I found my person in Garry. That season of life taught me to never take the quiet, meaningful moments for granted. When two people choose each other fully and forever, I believe they become unstoppable — and I wanted to spend my life capturing that.

What makes your business stand out from others in your category?

We’re not just capturing images — we’re storytellers. Every couple gets a heartfelt, authentic experience built on real connection, not a cookie-cutter timeline. Between our photo, film, 35mm, and content creation offerings, couples get a genuinely full creative team — not just a single photographer.

Describe your ideal client:

Couples who want to feel like themselves on their wedding day — not stiff or posed, but comfortable enough to laugh, cry, and be fully present. We connect best with couples who value authenticity over ‘perfect’ and want their photos to feel like their real love story.

What is something vendors would be surprised to know about you?

I originally went to school to become a youth pastor — a very different calling than where I ended up! And on the Garry side of things, he’s been an artist his whole life outside of the camera — drawing, painting, even metal art — long before he ever picked up a camera around 2009.

Fun facts:

I actually started college on a path to become a youth pastor before life led me to wedding photography — funny how that full-circle love of people and story followed me. I’m a former full-time firefighter and single mom of two before I met Garry. These days you’ll find me paddleboarding, curled up with a book, planning our next RV trip, or lighting one too many candles. I have two goldendoodles who go everywhere with me, and I never turn down a neat bourbon by the fire. I’m also a little obsessed with swans and octopuses — no in-between there!

Favorite place to meet with other vendors:

A cute local coffee shop, hands down — give me a good latte and good conversation any day.

Favorite gift to receive from another vendor:

Anything sentimental or thoughtful goes a long way with us — something with the business name on it, or a gift that shows someone really thought about who we are. We also love anything beachy, art-related, or swan/octopus themed (that’s me!), and Garry and I just got a record player, so vinyl is always a win. And honestly, a gift card for a massage or facial never hurts either!
