They provided a weekend cell phone number to text or call if we needed anything and even helped plan our rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. "I probably toured 25 different venues between Sarasota, Tampa, Clearwater, and Orlando. The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach was actually the second venue I toured, and I fell in love but the backup weather space wasn’t ideal so we took it off the list. "When it came down to choosing from the large selection of hotels on Clearwater Beach, the Hyatt won us over with their private rooftop terrace, cocktail area, and reception hall. We loved the idea of not having our guests have to walk through sand, but also have a beautiful view of the beach as our backdrop. It was important that our ceremony had a private and intimate feel, and the Hyatt seemed to check all of these boxes. We found their service to be exceptional as well. We worked with Roseli and communicated with her directly throughout the year when planning our wedding. She ensured all of our questions were answered and set up our reception area beautifully with any extra decorations we had brought to her (place settings, name cards, welcome sign, etc)."

We both knew we wanted a destination wedding. We decided on Clearwater Beach because Meera had been living there for her residency program, and we both fell in love with the area. This location was the best of both worlds, being very accessible for us so we could plan more easily while also being a destination for the vast majority of our guests. Once we decided on Clearwater Beach as our location, we searched for a venue with a tropical feel that would allow us to have an outdoor ceremony. As it was a destination wedding, we planned all of our functions at the same venue to keep things simple for our guests. We immediately fell in love with the Sky Terrace on the 16th floor at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa because it provided beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico without our guests having to deal with the sand while dressed in their finery. There was an abundance of natural beauty surrounding us, which made it easier for us to decorate the venue.

We wanted something close to the beach that had amazing views. We initially wanted to get married outside but didn't want to have to deal with the sand at the beach.

We did not go see the venue before we booked it, so we went off of online reviews and pictures. The views looked amazing and the Sky Terrace was the winning point. However, with having to change our date from March to August, we ended up getting married inside due to the heat and the fact that it rained. We couldn't be happier with their service and flexibility. The Hyatt and all the vendors were very understanding and accommodating. We cannot say enough good things about the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach!

I wanted a beach view without being directly on the beach. Sunset views and the sunset are my favorite things. A view of the water from the reception hall, great food, a venue that was easy to work with and communicate with, and one that I know could make for beautiful pictures.

I knew well before I was even engaged that I wanted the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach to be the venue. We stayed out there a couple of years prior, and that is when I knew that would be it. I actually did not even look at any other venues because I was set on the Hyatt. From the first meeting where we were able to tour the venue and chose our date, the service was great. Throughout the process, they were always very prompt in answering any questions or concerns I had. The food tasting was fantastic, and the chef even came to introduce himself. On the day of the rehearsal, they were very helpful and attentive. They came and picked up all of the wedding items we had and stored them, so we did not have to worry about it on the day of the wedding. Kayla made herself very available for any questions, concerns, or services I may need. On the day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about a single thing between having my wedding planner and Kayla at the Hyatt. I was able to stay in the moment and not stress at all. Everything went perfectly, and it was exactly how I envisioned it.

We wanted to have the ceremony and reception at the same place, and we wanted the venue to have in-house catering to make things easier. However, what was really important was for the venue to be close to the beach and be a place where everyone would enjoy going.

The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach had everything we were looking for, and I could just picture us getting married there. Their service was outstanding. Their staff is friendly and always ready to help. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience.

We knew we wanted our reception to be at a resort, as we love the resort feel and the amenities they offer. We desired a reception venue that had a quality reputation with a positive atmosphere. We wanted a space that didn’t just have four walls and felt like a box. We wanted to find a space that was indoors but felt open and impactful, with outdoor options furthermore.

We had always loved the iconic pink Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach as we have spent many weekends there, so when we toured the resort’s Belleair room, we instantly fell in love. The Belleair room was open, newly renovated, and had a spectacular view of the beach as well as the sunset. The Hyatt Clearwater just felt classic and timeless in our minds. Their service was impeccable and attentive, and they didn’t miss a thing; my husband and I were catered to from start to finish. I can’t say enough good things about Kayla Seager their event coordinator, she was absolutely amazing. She answered over 500 emails and made sure every detail was accounted for.

When I was looking for a venue, I was looking for a nice view for the ceremony and reception as well as a nice backup room just in case it rained. I also wanted to make sure the hotel rooms were nice and updated since we were all coming in from Illinois. We focused on the service and food at our venue because, at the end of the day, no one really pays attention to the wedding decor.

I chose the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach because of how good my tour went. They ran through everything with me, showed me all of the room options, went through different packages, etc., and the views and resort itself are beautiful! It also is a great venue because there's so much to do on Clearwater Beach.

The Hyatt was a ten out of ten! I still get compliments about the resort and how good the food was at our wedding. Everything turned out perfect. I highly recommend the Hyatt if you want to be close to the beach. Our ceremony was on the beach, cocktail hour was on the eighth floor, and then we did the reception on the 16th floor. The views and the resort are beautiful, and we had the best experience. I can't recommend it enough!”
