Nestled in downtown Tampa, The Spiral Staircase is a women-focused club with historic charm and architectural character in a modern setting. The architectural style leans toward elegance mixed with warmth, featuring high ceilings and an open flow balanced by cozy finishes in the smaller, more intimate rooms. The event spaces range from the Grand Lobby with soaring ceilings and opulent detailing for up to 130 guests, to smaller, intimate rooms like The Library, Tea Room, Lotus Room, Sky Room, and even a cozy Speakeasy, each with its own distinct vibe and decor.

The Ceremony
Our ceremonies take place in The Spiral Staircase’s stunning grand lobby—a space that blends timeless elegance with unique character. With rich dark green walls, a classic black and white floor, and striking light fixtures, the atmosphere is both sophisticated and warm.
The space comfortably seats up to 80 guests (chair layout dependent) and offers a beautiful backdrop for any style of ceremony. With its open design and thoughtful details, there are plenty of opportunities to personalize the space and make it feel uniquely yours.
The Cocktail Hour
The Spiral Staircase offers several beautifully designed spaces for your cocktail hour. Our Sky Lounge, located on the second floor, is filled with natural light and a sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for mingling and toasting.
Adjacent to the Sky Lounge is our gorgeous Members Lounge, also on the second floor. With its inviting layout and thoughtfully curated design, it provides a warm and stylish setting for guests to relax and enjoy.
Depending on the size and style of your wedding, you may also choose from one of our additional rooms on the first floor, including the Tea Room, Lotus Room, or Library. Each space offers its own unique charm and can be tailored to suit your celebration.

Surrounding the lobby are a series of exquisitely designed rooms, the Tea Room, Lotus Room, and Library, each offering its own distinct charm. These intimate spaces can be seamlessly activated to elevate your event and create moments of surprise and delight. From bespoke whisky or cocktail bars to decadent dessert lounges and even immersive puzzle experiences, each room invites your guests to explore, connect, and be inspired.

Bridget Hanle
Enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly experienced, Bridget brings over eight years of expertise in event management across hotels, universities, museums, and premier venues. Before joining The Spiral Staircase as one of our exceptional Venue Coordinators, she served as Conference Services Manager at The Don CeSar and Conference and Events Planner for USF Connect.
A proud graduate of The University of Notre Dame, Bridget holds professional certifications as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and in Post-Crisis Hospitality Management. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and passion for creating memorable experiences, she ensures every event unfolds seamlessly and beautifully.
Melissa Millour
A St. Petersburg native with Puerto Rican roots, Melissa Millour is the creative force behind Be YOUnique Events, LLC, where she designs celebrations that are as personal as they are unforgettable. She is also one of our wonderful venue coordinators here at The Spiral Staircase! With a degree in Resort & Hospitality Management from Florida Gulf Coast University and certification as a Wedding & Event Planner, she brings experience from luxury brands like The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, and The Don CeSar.
Known for her thoughtful approach and eye for detail, Melissa blends artistry and organization to turn every vision into a masterpiece. When she’s not curating events, she enjoys mocha lattes, traveling, reading, and salsa dancing with her husband, Alexander.
