Nestled in downtown St. Pete behind the brick walls and industrial chic atmosphere is a hidden intimate wedding venue at Red Mesa Events. Combining the event space’s modern look with boho-chic design elements, wedding planner Jennifer Matteo Event Planning curated a unique inspired wedding styled shoot.
“Our theme was inspired by the building’s architecture, vibe and color palette. We wanted to feature the venue as both a lively cantina, but also an elegant space, so we did two different looks,” Jennifer explained. “This allows the space to be viewed in a variety of different ways.”
To complement the exposed brick, stunning chandeliers and herringbone wood floor, the design team incorporated a neutral color palette with pops of navy, deep yellow and greenery. With the blank canvas that Red Mesa Events provides, there is lots of creative freedom to design the room for any look.
“I have been loving a mustard yellow this season, so I have been incorporating it in as much as possible!” Jennifer beamed. “The plays on the vibrant colors with the more neutral mustard tones were perfect for the space, and I am always game for using unexpected garnishes, such as lemons and artichokes!”
How would you describe the theme?

What were your colors?

My favorite elements of this shoot were all the little details, and the energy that is shown through the images!
