  • We started out thinking we wanted to be by the water but ultimately decided we didn’t want to mess with the weather. From there we really wanted a space to comfortably fit our somewhat large guest list and that had beautiful architecture, something that felt like a special occasion and not purely a blank event space. After a few tours, I quickly realized that I also wanted a venue with a lot included things like linens, table settings, and chairs. I didn’t want to be chasing down more vendors for all the moving parts. There were so many reasons that we chose The Vault! The space is gorgeous and the building feels so grand. The main room has beautiful tall pillars and timeless marble floors. The Vault offered floor-to-ceiling windows that let natural light pour in and had a lovely shaded grass area for cocktail hour. It really felt like the best of both worlds.

In terms of logistics and numbers, The Vault offered a reasonable price for the wedding package to include a lot of the moving parts like linens, table settings, and chairs which saved us from sourcing or paying more elsewhere. They also cater the event, with amazing food options, so it runs so smoothly! Another huge pro was having a get ready space that also saved us from sourcing another location and additional transportation. The easy, timely, and smooth communication with The Vault team was impressive; from almost year in advance to the final clean up, they were the best!

  • We wanted a venue that was beautiful and bright, but it was important that the ceremony and the reception would both be indoors. We did not want to take any risks with Florida weather!

We were blown away by The Vault when we first toured it, both inside and out. We love this area, and we loved that our wedding venue was literally down the street from our old apartment. The space inside is really so beautiful on its own, and the curtains and uplighting they use at night are stunning. We also loved that it was a historic building, and our guests could explore the old bank vault. The service was great; Norma was extremely helpful throughout the entire process!

  • Once we had narrowed it down to Tampa and decided on an indoor wedding, there really wasn’t any competition. I did not want to risk the special day being rained out, so it had to be a space that held up on its own without the beautiful Floridian backdrop.

We chose The Vault because as soon as you walk up to those 1920 columns, you are fully transported into a historical Tampa landmark. It speaks for itself. When you walk through the doors the first thing you see is the floor-to-ceiling windows as well as the original marble floors. The space on its own is simply breathtaking and in the back is the actual vault that the bank used way back in the day.

Another main perk is that The Vault handles all of its food catering itself to ensure you have the best day possible. This made it easier to ensure top-of-the-line service. Everything about The Vault service was 10 out of 10 from the moment the day started until we closed the place down.

  • We both wanted an indoor reception venue for the big day (since unpredictable Florida weather can be scary) that transported guests to feel like they stepped into a different time. We were hopeful that we would find a historic building that was also a ‘one-stop shop’ that covered the catering, tables, and chairs, and so on to reduce the number of vendors we needed to coordinate with on the day of.

The Vault checked every box for us: historical architectural elements, high ceilings, lots of natural light, two floors, large space, great food options, and an experienced team. We are incredibly grateful for the team at The Vault; we couldn’t imagine our big day without them. They made all of our wedding dreams happen.

  • “I loved the character and historic and modern elegance of The Vault. Our guests were able to walk from the ceremony to the reception.”

  • “We fell in love with our reception space after learning it was revitalized from The Exchange National Bank constructed in 1923. The character and modern elegance it possessed was absolutely breathtaking. We took a leap of faith and had no regrets. The Vault is an amazing space, and we feel blessed it was apart of the happiest day of our lives!”

  • “I wanted a wedding venue that was unique to Tampa, but that was also a blank canvas that I could bring my own style too. The Vault is the perfect mix of old and new Tampa. Everyone at the venue was so accommodating, and I felt comfortable putting my wedding in their hands!”

  • “I fell in love with The Vault the first time my husband and I took our tour. It was spacious, elegant and everything I wanted. I feel as though we didn’t have to add much to the venue because it was already so beautiful.”

    – Arielle and Seth |
  • “When we visited The Vault, I knew it was ‘the one.’ The history of the building and its intricate details won me over. It was different from most venues I had been to, and I believe that it undeniably worked with our old Floridian theme.”

    – Jessica and Ryan |
  • “I chose The Vault because I loved the building. It’s elegant and grand and the details were just perfect. TJ and I are both attorneys in the financial services industry, and The Vault was formerly The National Exchange Bank and kept the actual bank vault and many of the bank’s accents.”

  • “The Vault is reasonably priced for everything you get, and James and Casey are very invested in every event. They were fantastic! They were kind and flexible since the day we met them, and they went out of their way to make a few things happen that weren’t a big deal to us, but made us feel special.”

    – Bri and Luke |
  • “There were so many elements that we loved about The Vault, from the moment we walked in: its floor-to-ceiling windows, elegant architecture and contemporary feel. However it was without a doubt the venue’s previous history that sealed the deal for us. Their service was outstanding! They even accommodated our request to have our dog make a brief appearance during introductions, which was a huge hit with our guest and meant a great deal to us. Overall, they helped to elevate our guests’ experience to the next level.”

    – Stefany and Eric |
  • “The Vault is such a great place. It’s perfect for the reception area; It has a separate place for the photo booth (inside the vault) and upstairs has a place for the bridal party, which also looks over the bottom area. It’s a blank slate, so you can dress it up as much or as little as you’d like. The large windows and high ceilings are great for draping. I could go on and on!”

    – Cristina and Eddie |
  • “The Vault was so luxurious and grand. It was lit up and not dark or old feeling at all. We knew from the moment we saw the venue that we wanted to highlight all of its the beauty, and not cover it up with too many drapes and add-ins.”

    – Olivia and Dany |
  • “I chose The Vault as our venue because of how naturally beautiful it is. There was just something about it that spoke to me and made me feel like it would capture our love story perfectly. Aside from the overall feel, we really really enjoyed the food they provided. Not a single guest left hungry!”

  • We looked for a spacious venue with a beautiful history. The Vault gave us amazing service, and the venue speaks for itself.

    – Dina and Tony |
  • We wanted something that offered both the ceremony and reception in one place. We also wanted the venue to have the catering included to eliminate us having to find a caterer, and we wanted something that was local and close to things to do so our out-of-town family and friends could do stuff and make a vacation out of the weekend.

We picked The Vault because of how beautiful the space was. We loved the natural lighting and the huge windows. We knew it was the one as soon as we finished the tour! Their service was great! The communication was quick and responsive. The team made our vision come to life!

  • This is one thing that my husband ended up being particular about, which was surprising. We looked at a couple of different places and I received very nonchalant and non-committal responses from Brian. Then we toured The Vault with James. Brian just lit up and said, “This is it.” He works in finance and loved that historically it was the Federal Exchange. I loved the floor-to-ceiling windows and the blank slate to create what we really wanted. We fell in love with the team. They had so much enthusiasm and were so willing to think outside the box and create an event that was unique and personal to us. The catering and service were outstanding.

  • We wanted something with close proximity to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and to a handful of hotels. We knew 90% of our guests would be traveling from out of state so that was a challenge from the beginning. We wanted somewhere that had enough space for everyone to dance and that felt true to our personalities.

Finding The Vault and realizing how close it was to the church, just made sense. It was a beautiful, unique venue with plenty of space for all of our guests. We loved how it had the second floor, and we had not seen a venue comparable to the way The Vault was set up. It has its own beauty in the architecture, especially the large windows, but allows plenty of room to make an event truly personal. Their service was incredible, and the staff was so friendly and made us feel so at ease. They made the planning process stress-free and met with us in person beforehand to discuss the layouts we had in mind. The tasting was incredible! During the wedding, they gifted us with a bottle of red wine at our table which was so thoughtful as red is our favorite.

  • Since I was planning on my own from the west coast, I really needed a venue that provided not only a responsive event coordinator but also a majority of the services that I would need. The Vault did just that. Their event services included furniture rental/setup, lighting, audio equipment, and catering. It was pretty close to a one-stop-shop. Morgan, their event coordinator, got involved extremely early and was diligent about addressing my questions and concerns throughout the process.  Even the couple of minor items I brought up as feedback after the wedding, the venue was happy to address them.
