For those brides affected by the Alfred Angelo bridal shop closing, we've partnered with top area wedding boutiques to offer some assistance for finding new dresses.

Within hours of our call for help several Tampa Bay bridal shops were more than eager to provide discounts and their support to local brides.

“This is such a sad situation. I can't even imagine what brides who purchased a dress must be going through!” Viktoria Jones, owner of The Bride Tampa in Ybor shared. “We can certainly offer a 15% discount to brides (with a valid proof of receipt of an Alfred Angelo gown). I will reach out to my other designers to see if they would consider waiving their rush fees.”

For those brides who need dresses immediately, Truly Forever Bridal, one of the largest off the rack bridal boutiques in Florida, allows brides to go home with their dream dress the same day. Through July 23rd, all of their gowns are 20% for affect Alfred Angelo brides.

Past brides have been going to social media using the hashtag #alfredangelo or #dressmatchmaker to loan or donate their gowns. We encourage Tampa Bay brides to use #dressmatchmakertampa to share with local couples if they have a wedding dress available.

“As sad as the situation is, it is nice to see the bridal community all coming together to help the brides in need,” Emily Summerall, manager of  Calvet Couture Bridal in Winter Park and Sarasota added.

To apply the below discounts, brides will need to show proof of purchase from Alfred Angelo.
