What makes your venue stand out from others in your category? I know every venue will probably say that they are unique, but I honestly believe we are very unique to any other venue. We are an overnight accommodations wedding venue, allowing our couples to spend the entire weekend with their family and friends on a private exclusive property that sits on 120 acres. Our couples can select up to 30 of their friends and family to stay with them on the property from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. We spend the week preparing the property and the wedding venue space specifically for the couple's wedding day. The owner's vision was to allow the couple extended time with family and friends instead of a few hours on a Saturday while running around getting everything set up and broken down for their special day. Lastly, our staff also sets us apart. They go above and beyond to assist in any way they can and to make everything run as smoothly as possible.
Describe your ideal client: A couple who wants to be able to relax and enjoy a hassle-free wedding with more time to celebrate with their loved ones over the duration of the weekend.
How did you get into the wedding business? I was and still am a licensed cosmetologist and have worked in a salon since 9th grade. I always enjoyed doing hair and makeup for formal events for friends and continued to do it as part of my profession. I am also a type-A person and like organization and details. When my husband's aunt and uncle started a wedding venue, I showed interest in wanting to help with hair and makeup but also wanted to be an assistant coordinator. There was a position that opened up, and then very quickly, a lead coordinator for the venue at Legacy Lane Weddings. After one year of being a lead coordinator, they asked me to come on full-time and help oversee all of the events and venue. As of June 2021, I became the Director of Events.

Fun Facts: I love volleyball, being active, and spending time outdoors. I have four beautiful children and love spending time with them and my husband, going to the beach. Although I was born in the North and lived there most of my life, I am a Southern girl at heart!

What is something vendors would be surprised to know about you? One of the first warehouses to turn into a venue is central Florida with a full finishing commercial kitchen and outdoor space

If a vendor were to send you a “thank you” gift, what would you like to receive? I am a big foodie who enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants. I also like making cocktails as a hobby, so supplies and ingredients for food and drinks is always a great gift. I also travel a lot, so handy little items to make travel easy is always a plus too.
