St. Pete Beach Wedding – Don CeSar Wedding – St. Petersburg Wedding Planner Exquisite Events
Nicole and Kyle’s Love Story:
In 2008, Kyle and I met at the University of Central Florida in Orlando through mutual friends at a football tailgating party. After finding out our common interest in the show “Lost,” we quickly because friends.
We dated casually for about a year and made it official in late 2009. Around this same time I had to relocate to Tampa to finish my degree at the University of South Florida. A month later, Kyle moved back to South Florida after his graduation.
We dated long distance for about six months, until Kyle decided to finally pack up and move to Tampa to be closer to me.
Fast forward three years to April 13, 2013. Kyle and I planned an exciting day at Disney World and Magic Kingdom. After eating ice cream and enjoying a Disney parade, Kyle proposed to me in front of Cinderella’s Castle!
Pink, Disney Inspired St. Pete Beach Wedding at the Don CeSar
Since the Tampa couple got engaged at Cinderella’s Castle, Nicole and Kyle held a black and pink fairy tale inspired wedding.
“I’m a Disney girl, and Disney/Cinderella have played a big part in our relationship,” the bride explained. “Our theme was romantic, magical, and fairytale, with a soft hint of vintage.”
With 90% of their guests attending from out of town, Nicole and Kyle wanted a St. Pete Beach wedding venue with gorgeous views that made their everyone “feel like they were stepping into a dream.”
“We felt the magic of the Loews Don CeSar from the second we first walked into the lobby,” the bride gushed. “As soon as I saw the King Charles ballroom and the chandeliers, Kyle and I knew that was the venue we had been looking for.”
Even with her self-proclaimed “Type-A” personality, Nicole hired St. Pete Beach wedding planner Exquisite Events to make sure wedding day flowed smoothly.
“We wanted to make sure we had someone to execute everything on the day of, so I wouldn’t end up claiming that role,” the bride explained. “We stumbled upon Exquisite Events‘ website, and their photos were just gorgeous. We liked that they offered more than just planning services and that we could decide how much involvement we wanted.”
All of the couple’s hard work paid off, because seeing the finished product was unforgettable for the bride.
“When I first saw the ceremony and reception ballrooms, it was overwhelming; all of the planning, stress, late nights and challenging decisions were all worth it at that moment when I saw what all of our hard work produced,” Nicole reminisced. “I was flooded with pride, happiness and a huge sense of accomplishment. Our wedding details were a product of us.”
“Terry, from Carter’s Florist read us like a book when we met with him for our consult. He was the first vendor who saw the vision we were after, and he was able to understand exactly what we were looking for.” – The Bride
“Our wedding vows were very special and something I hope to remember forever. I cried when Kyle read his vows to me, and I had to stop about five times as I read mine to him to keep my tears out of my mouth.” – The Bride
“When the doors opened for my dad and I to enter the ceremony ballroom and walk down the aisle, he and I stood there waiting for our queue, and he looked at me, smiled and squeezed my arm. I felt such happiness and sweet sadness as a Daddy’s Little Girl. There’s something so pure about smiling so much you can’t help but cry.” – The Bride
“We wanted to make sure we had someone execute everything on the day of, so I wouldn’t end up claiming that role. We stumbled upon Exquisite Events‘ website, and their photos were just gorgeous.” – The Bride
“All of our vendors were perfect – I know it’s cliche, but each of them made every part of our wedding simply amazing.” – The Bride
What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay Brides?
Get organized from the beginning and stick with it!
A big part of planning is to not only set your budget – set a timeline for when each step and vendor should be checked off the list. Scheduling “due dates” for each step and vendor is just as vital as figuring out what to spend on each.
