Downtown St. Pete Wedding | The Vinoy Renaissance Wedding
Alexandra and Logan’s traditional downtown St. Pete wedding featured a lavish, outdoor wedding ceremony with floral arches and elegant reception with tall centerpieces and romantic candlelight.
“Attention to detail and imagination were most important,” the bride explained. “The chandeliers that hung at the ceremony made me feel like our wedding was out of a movie, and our head table with love seat was out of this world beautiful.”
The St. Petersburg couple chose to marry in their hometown after viewing their downtown St. Pete wedding venue.
“We fell in love with our vision at our venue,” Alexandra beamed. “The Vinoy Renaissance was amazing to work with. They were attentive and always friendly. The Vinoy is a beautiful resort.”

To accent their ivory, white and gold wedding, the pair chose a wedding invitation suite that featured their monogram and gold calligraphy.
“We wanted a more traditional, elegant, yet simple design and colors that matched our theme of our wedding,” the bride explained. “A&P Designs was great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone!”
Looking back, one of the bride’s most memorable moments was celebrating her love and commitment.
“[I’ll never forget] marrying my best friend and better half while being surrounded by our friends and family in a beautiful downtown St. Pete spot,” Alexandrea reminisced.
What was your inspiration for your wedding invitations and stationery?
We wanted a more traditional, elegant, yet simple design and colors that matched our theme of our wedding.
A&P Designs was great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. We also had our thank you notes and save the dates printed from them.
What did you look for in a wedding venue?
We live in St. Petersburg. We picked this area because we fell in love with our vision at our venue and because it was easier for us to plan so close by. Capacity, location, availability of the date we wanted, good food and excellent customer service and hospitality were important.
The Vinoy Renaissance was amazing to work with. They were attentive and always friendly. The Vinoy is a beautiful resort, and we were more than happy we chose them.
The Proposal:
We were on a trip with my family to Paris. We went to Pont Des Arts (Love Lock Bridge), and Logan got down on one knee with his lock that said, “Will you marry me?”
How would you describe your theme?
Classic, traditional, beautiful and meaningful.
What were your colors?
Very soft and elegant: ivories, whites and gold.
