One of Our Non-Wedding Passions Is:
My family means everything to me. I have two young sons and a husband with an unconventional work schedule, so you can usually find me running around outside, exercising my body and imagination with them.
Wedding planning really is my passion, though, so something that gave me a lot of joy outside of wedding planning was writing a children’s book… about weddings! I realized when I was pregnant with my first son that there wasn’t a book that existed to teach my child about my job! Fastforward a few months, and I published the first and only ABC book about wedding words, complete with colorful illustrations and rhyming pages detailing the wedding world and all the people and elements that you might find on that special day.

Meet Amber Schryver
Planning lavish events is what I was born to do… no, really! From a very young age, I’ve always had a passion to organize events. I learned by watching my parents host huge family parties and elaborate holiday gatherings at my Chicago home. I was mesmerized by the overall experience of people coming together, surrounded by food, drinks, music, decor, and quality company. I tried recreating my own events that might rival these adult parties. I’d put together “Basement Broadways”; with personalized invitations and menus, cued lighting and music, handmade decor, a timeline and script, and poorly executed makeup, these were nothing short of a full production. Following my intense pull toward creating, I graduated with a degree in film and TV production. During that time, I worked professionally within special events as a project manager and creative designer. After recognizing the opportunity to join my creativity and design skills together with managerial organization, my childhood productions soon evolved into planning life’s biggest and best occasions. With this progression, I still have a production crew, a set, and best of all, my clients cast in the leading roles! I service the entire state of Florida and only accept a set number of events each year to ensure that I can provide undivided attention to my couples, offering them personalized care. This choice also allows me to be present for my young sons and dedicate time to my family.
