St. Pete wedding photographer Marc, of Marc Edwards Photographs, has become the go-to photographer for airport wedding shoots in the Tampa Bay area, bringing us this vintage airport engagement shoot last year.

“Marc was instrumental in helping to coordinate the whole session,” the bride gushed. “It was a thrilling and beautiful day!”

How did he propose?
Ryan proposed a few days before I left on a mission trip and he left for a deployment. We started the night with traditional beer and pizza at Sally O'Neal's, and then he took me to Curtis Hixon Park and proposed along the water. Our friends were hiding behind the benches to take photos.

How did your engagement shoot reflect you and your fiancee's personalities?

Ryan is a pilot in the Air Force. He loves to fly so I wanted to incorporate that pay tribute to his service.
We wanted our engagement session to reflect the playfulness of our relationship and include what Ryan loves to do—fly planes.

What did you look for in a wedding photographer?
We wanted someone who would be laid back and make us feel comfortable. Ryan and I don't like to take pictures, so it was super important that we could feel relaxed and have fun with it all.
We wanted someone who was creative and artistic, but who used natural beauty and light. I didn't want pictures to look too fake or manipulated.
