Alyssa and Tim’s Tampa Bay wedding featured scenic backdrops of rolling greenery and a green, dusty blues, and blush color palette.

“We really wanted to keep things simple since the location was so beautiful. We are laid back and no fuss kind of people,” Alyssa explained. “I loved incorporating the lanterns that really set the mood with soft lights. We wanted colors to tie in to the beautiful scenery we had outside.”

The Lakeland couple knew that they wanted a Tampa Bay wedding photographer with experience in capturing gorgeous portraits and highlight the scenery that their venue offered.

“Since we had such a great location we wanted to make sure whomever we went with for a photographer could capture really beautiful shots outside,” the bride shared. “Kristen of Kristen Marie Photography was wonderful! She came highly recommended!”

With a goal of keeping their guests entertained and on their feet, the couple spent a a lot of time researching their Tampa Bay wedding DJ.

“We read a lot of reviews for DJs before booking one” Alyssa gushed. “Graingertainment was really great. The DJ played all different kinds of music so there was a little something for everyone. Everyone loved him and complemented what a great selection there was!

Looking back on her wedding day, one of the most cherished memories for the bride was a special moment she shared with her father.

“My favorite moment was the first look between me and my father. It was really important to me that we could share a moment between just the two of us before he walked me down the aisle. Dads don’t really get involved with the planning, so I wanted to make sure we had our moment. Our photographer, Kristen, captured the reveal with pictures, and it was just so emotional and wonderful at the same time,” the bride reminisced.

How would you describe your theme/wedding design inspiration?

The Proposal:
Tim proposed at home. It was a great night in. He made a really nice dinner and flowers were waiting for me when I arrived home. He caught me completely by surprise which is hard to do after dating for eight years.

What advice would you give to other Tampa Bay couples?
At the end of the day the wedding is about you as a couple. Its very easy to plan with everyone else in mind and listen to a lot of opinions. Make sure the day is everything you want it to be. Most of all, enjoy the process. The actual wedding day will go by so fast. Sit back and enjoy all of the small things that go on that day.
