DIY Wedding Place Cards & Menus – Doily Charger

Doilies aren't just for grandma's house anymore. They can add a touch of elegance to your Tampa Bay wedding. Hire a calligrapher to make a stunning place card, or use your tracing skills to DIY (or if you're like me, find a way to print it from your computer!) Here are three easy ways to “class-up” your Tampa Bay wedding reception:

A clear plate and doily takes this table from simple to stunning! Hire a calligrapher (I love Tampa's Invitation Galleria) to write your guests' names on doilies (can be purchased from Michael's).

If you have to work with your Tampa Bay wedding venue‘s china, you can  place the doily on top of your plate. Print out your guests' names, place the print-out under the doily, then trace! See a complete DIY wedding tutorial at Be Book Bound.

If you're DIY challenged like myself, you can print your wedding menu on a piece of specialty paper, then glue it to a doily. This extra touch will really stand out to our guests!

If a white doilies just won't do, dye them to match your wedding colors! See a complete DIY wedding tutorial at Intimate Weddings.
