Richard Kittelstad – Ricky Keys

    -ABOUT MYSELF-

         For those of you who don’t know me, I have been playing piano since I was 8 years old. My first passion was golf and I dedicated my childhood to it with a focused intent of becoming a tour professional. After playing for the University of South Florida’s Mens golf team from 2008-2012, I graduated with a degree in Music Studies. Shortly after I completed my golf tenure, I felt I had a greater passion for music and during this transition phase, I started to get gigs performing around the Tampa Bay areas private golf clubs before I graduated. My initial intention was to exchange my services of piano performance at golf clubs for the ability to play free golf after college, as I realized I would need a place to continue to practice to pursue professional golf. Now I perform full time, yet still have the time to play golf in the day.

             Today the majority of my gigs are at golf clubs in Tampa. However upon graduation, I decided to focus on piano after successfully performing at private clubs. This gave me a nice means to live comfortably, and during this time I created many piano covers on Youtube. Over time I have been able to record almost 1600 piano covers, and make a living doing what I love online.

              Today I perform most nights through the week in Tampa Bay primarily, and focus on growing my online presence in the Youtube Music world. If you would like to see me in Tampa Bay, I have my schedule in the tabs to the left. My passions are still the same…. Piano, Golf and Travel. My dream is to be able to continuously do all, whether on the road or at home.

            My intention is to continue to create original recordings, covers, compositions and transcriptions online for my subscribers, and make a career performing, not just in person, but online. My other major passion,Travel…has a blog to follow below. There you can read some of my adventures and get to know me on a deeper level. These are some my favorite life experiences and  some incredible adventures I have had in travel and the music world.
